One large card, two small envelopes! Am I missing something?

I've ordered Dd an A4 sized birthday card which arrived today - with 2 A5 sized envelopes. I mean I guess I could cut the birthday card in half but it sort of defeats the object ... :)

Could you maybe put the bottom of the card in 1 envelope and the top in the other then stick the flaps to the other envelope? Sorry if that makes no sense, it does in my head Blush
