Divorce through - - any suggestions to make it positively memorable?

Been a long wait after an abusive marriage.... now it's here I feel strangely sad about it. Despite this I think it needs to be marked in a positive and memorable way as I look forwards not backwards.

What did you do to mark this or do you have any suggestions ?

I'd like to smile again soon.

Congratulations on the start of the rest of your life! As someone who left a very difficult relationship a year ago, I can promise you it gets sooooo much better :)

Are you in a position to buy yourself a fabulous piece of jewellery? Not necessarily expensive - but a ring or necklace you can wear all the time and smile, as a reminder of your bravery and new beginning?

Also let yourself feel sad. It is sad when a relationship/era of your life ends, even if it's a good thing. All the best to you xx

Thank you for your kind words.

I've been single for a long time already so nothing really changes I guess but it's time to draw a line and move forward

I love the idea of jewellery, a nice ring perhaps. I really miss having nice rings to wear.

I will give it some thought 😊
