Implant out without partner's knowledge.

My best friends (he's a male) girlfriend wants to take her implant out without telling him. Me and the girlfriend are pretty good friends hence her telling me her plans. I told her morally it's wrong.

They are planning on having a child but the implant wasn't to be removed to October as she wanted to lose weight first.

I'm really looking for other peoples opinions/advice I can give her.

I once had sex with a guy who took his condom off mid deed (changing positions). I didn't consent to unprotected sex. I see this situation as a similar thing. You friend needs to know what he is consenting to when he has sex with his GF.

Okay so I told her that, so it would basically be non consensual sex effectively.

I so badly want to tell my friend but don't want the girlfriend to potentially turn him against me either!

I'd tell him. It's an abhorrent thing to do whether it's a man taking off a condom or a woman not taking/having the contraception that her partner believes she has.
