Anyone experienced this in perimenopause, too?

About two years ago, I started missing periods. Blood tests taken and highly likely in perimenopause.
Periods all over place but now 8 weeks without one. Not pregnant.
Thing is I FEEL as if on. Pelvic ache being main symptom.

I honestly would have sworn I was menstruating but no blood!

I'm not concerned it's sinister because I'm sure it's perimenopause related but I don't understand this. So frustrating!

I get this from time to time too. Plus feel snappy around that time as well. But period doesn’t come. I agree it is very frustrating. I think it’s been around 4 months since I last had a period.

Yes, mine went all over the place. Some months I'd have a really heavy period with flooding, some months I'd get the pain but no bleeding. Very irregular.

Thanks for replies. There's not much more I can say but it helps to know not only one.
I must 've used a ton of pads. Maybe switch to reusable ones to avoid waste.
Because all the usual signs are there, I've honestly got no way of knowing.

I did @Berline often for months at a time but only actually having one period a year for several years. Then at some point I realised that I didn’t have that pelvic ache, hadn’t for sometime and in fact it was well over a year since my last period, and that was that. All done and dusted by my late 40’s.

Yes, I get this. Probably in peri and at the end of a Mirena coil.
I get achy thighs, period poo, cotton wool brain , javelin arse and cramps but no bleeding.
Delightful.

Yes. I’m on HRT and have been since my mid 40’s and I still get this.
Ovulation pain is also worse now.

Berline · 16/02/2021 08:25

Glad to know this is normal. Period pants seem like good idea.

Yep. Period flu but no period.

DinosaurDiana · 16/02/2021 08:26

I get pain when my cervix moves up and down, pre and post ‘ovulation’.
Could it be that ?

pontiouspilates · 16/02/2021 08:48

Yup, I get this, it's like a phantom period! Keep expecting to come on, but don't.
