Anyone had tinnitus that was temporary?

I've had sudden onset tinnitus for 4 months now, no reason for it. I'm slowly getting used to the head noise but the ear tones are very much bothering me - one of them sounds like a mosquito. Still hoping it might all go away at some point! Or at least get quieter/stop changing all the time.

Mine comes and goes.
Often set off by deep base speakers and change of altitude.

My DH had a dreadful time and was unable to be seen because of covid pandemic. A colleague suggested he contacted a herbalist. The appt was a zoom call - the tincture she ordered for him was foul but he was desperate so followed all her instructions - recovery followed the route the herbalist forecast. She also gave him dietary advice.

I'm not sure herbs will get rid of this..... But thanks for your reply.

I’ve had constant Tinnitus since recovering from Covid. Very annoying but could have had worse post-viral symptoms I guess.

@Kitchy40 Sorry to hear that, hopefully it'll fade over time for you.
