I've never seen the film. I wanted too but then the hamster stories put paid to that and I've never been able to look at him in the same light. Might not be true of course but once that mental image is there...

Great film although Richard Gere and Debra Winger couldn't stand each other in real life, it made filming quite tricky apparently, I must admit they hid it very well, especially in the nookie scenes!

Meh. I'd fuck him silly, hamster or no hamster.

Not my favourite romantic film. Didn't really like the Mayo character and there was no chemistry between Gere and Winger. Didn't know they didn't get on but makes sense. Now the chemistry between him and Julia Roberts was clear as day.

A friend of mine took me to see this film to cheer me up as my first serious boyfriend had finished with me, and I was devastated.

My first ever serious boyfriend was in the navy. The film didn't cheer me up. I remained devastated. Possibly even more so ..., 😂

I loved Richard in Yanks.

He is so sexy in that film.

He looks like Mole from Wind in the Willows now.

I do like Mole though. He was kind to his friends.

Not sure Mole would have made a good fighter pilot. But if you want someone to share a picnic with, look no further.

He is hit in this film, totally classic.
