Decent Slippers

Anyone got some slippers they're pleased with? I'm looking for maybe something ankle length, all around the foot, not mule types. Any ideas welcome.

I'm officially middle aged, fuck.

This thread is quite old now so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for warm, cosy slippers, we’ve recently updated our best women’s slippers page with lots of great options, as worn and loved by Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

I have these yokowool.com/product/siberian/ I love them, they're warm as toast! Proper wool. They have ankle length ones on the website too.

Ugg Anysley except they’re out of stock atm although Ugg say they are coming back into stock. Not like I’m obsessively checking the website or anything Hmm.

I have ugg slippers and balked at the price but they are much my favourite pair ever now. I literally live in them and they aren’t meant to go in the wash but I still wash them!

Neverendingsnot · 14/02/2021 22:33

Moshulu - I've had mine for 3 years now.

Moshulu- got a pair a year ago and they gave up at Christmas. I wear them all day every day as an a SAHM and not going far at the mo! My DH gave me some supermarket slippers for Xmas, they lasted about a week! Am now waiting on another moshulu delivery.

inappropriateraspberry · 14/02/2021 22:43

I have realised I wear them more than any other shoe, so should be prepared to spend half decent money on them really!

ABitOfAShitShow · 14/02/2021 22:43

I just bought the Celtic and Co ugg-type slipper boots because I’m sick of my feet being freezing while I work from home!

Mykittensmittens · 14/02/2021 22:46

Moshulu - every time. Sale on at the mo. Their slipper boots are very snug and cosy.

justasking111 · 14/02/2021 22:47

I ask family for slipper boots every xmas, cheap ones, usually get two pairs, live in them. But I do wear fuzzy socks underneath them, because I find two layers are the only things that keep my feet warm.

Moshulu. I've had a few pairs now, I think they're great. I prefer the ballet slipper style, but they do a few bootie styles too.

I have giessweins. I can't cope with anything that falls off the back and I got these as a replacement for my late lamented mahabis (now the dog's). They are super warm and felty, I feel like I have hobbit feet!

I bought some Moshulus based on recommendations here. I found them very wide so my feet slipped about in them, and they developed a hole in the toe within a few months. I won't be buying them again. I wear Toms now, they are indestructible.

Notanorthadontist · 14/02/2021 23:31

I have some similar to these www.moshulu.co.uk/product/bo-1692#?variant=20 and a pair of the longer ones. I love them both, cosy and comfortable but too warm to wear in the summer!
