We met 17 years ago, got together last year after finally both being single. We had always liked each other but it was never the right time. He is the love of my life and I have never been happier.
The world is brighter and full of love right now and I can only hope it stays that way.

DP was in my older brothers year at school. He was the most popular guy in the school and everyone fancied him including me Bumped into him in a pub just over 5 years ago and he remembered me. He was even better looking than in school. I moved in with him 3 months later. Was supposed to be married last year, but now will be next year

Awww, I love a happy ending! Or should that be a happy continuation?
DH and I were part of a group of friends at 6th form. We kept in touch by letter when he went to Uni and I went to college. February 1984 I sent him a Valentine's card and the rest as they say is history. We've been married nearly 33 years and have 2 DSs. I hope they'll be as lucky in love as we've been.

15yo me Was out with a friend and ran into a mutual friend and his mates. Took an instant like to one of his mates and started chatting and he walked me home. Heard someone shouting my name a couple of days later and he caught up with us. Had our 1st kiss and i went home because the 1st episode of Ugly Betty was on and i wanted to watch it! I asked him out over text the next day, 14 years, 2 kids, a mortgage and too many animals later, were still going!

These stories are all bringing a smile. Sometimes I think it's easier to complain than to talk about the happier things-I feel a bit daft irl talking about how bloody happy I am these days.
