Will putting up a bird feeder on the shed stop birds nesting on the roof?

I had a nightmare last year with birds nesting in the loft. It’s blocked up now but I can’t cope with the banging and scrabbling again!

We have a shed we don’t really use at the bottom of the garden. If I put up a feeder, will they move there?

I should clarify- I want them away from the roof of the house. The shed would be much better.
