Anyone else woken up too early?

FFS it's Sunday
And a long boring lockdown one at that
I was hoping for a bit of a lie in
But no
Awake before six
Managed to doze till 7 sort of
Then wide awake
Am sat in bed with a coffee
My kids are teenagers and will not surface till lunchtime
I will need a mid afternoon nap at this rate

My bladder woke me at 5.45am.
I’ve been on the sofa with the cats, tea and MN since.
I’m tempted to go and put a chicken casserole in the slow cooker for dinner tomorrow night.

Oh I'd give anything to sleep in til nearly 8am any day of the week! My kids have me up at 5am every single day.

I'd stay on the sofa
I miss having a cat to snuggle up with

When mine were little I'd be praying to stay in bed past 7
Now they never surface before lunchtime and I'm awake at the crack of Dawn

Yes, slept badly (sometime randomly do)

Awake for nearly three hours already, tried reading a book, but have now given up on ideas of dropping off again and have turned to a screen

I also woke up early. I’ve done all the cleaning except hoovering as I didn’t want to wake anyone else up. At least the time wasn’t wasted and now I have the whole day to read my book. I’ll probably have a catch up nap at midday just before the rugby though.

I’ve been up since 4am struggling to sleep but I haven’t done anything productive, just watching the cricket.

I’ll admit it’s a very small house! A kitchen diner to sweep, little bit of washing up to do, some washing to put on, dusting 3 rooms and one bathroom to clean. It took me 2 hours so plenty of time to rest!
I’ll admit my first post made it sound much more impressive.
I wake up so early every weekend it’s a bit of a routine for me now.

Well I've got dressed and got up and everyone else is still asleep
