Remote jobs in finance

I am looking to retrain in finance in some capacity.

I considered wealth management or financial advice but I would prefer not to be client facing and in a more technical role.

My issue is I am based in another country and it is likely I will not remain in any country for longer than a couple of years at a time, so any position would have to be remote or freelance. It would also need to be part time.

Is there anyone who could advise any jobs that would be suitable?

Why finance? What are the skills and experience you're bringing, what are your strengths and what do you enjoy doing?

In Wealth management if you don't want to be client-facing you could work on the product or portfolio side, managing the suite of products available to client-facing advisors. Or you could work as a planner, supporting advisors with more technical scenario planning for advisors.

Another route to explore would be actuarial work. Or you could do risk and compliance/audit.
