Should I pack everything away?

Posting here because I'd like first-hand feedback and not sure the property section gets enough traffic for that.

We are having a new floor installed in a holiday let we have. The builders will be removing the current floor tiles and putting new ones down.

Do we need to empty all the kitchen cupboards? Will the dust reach inside the cupboards? We've never had anything similar done so have no idea and would rather not have to pack everything away if we don't have to. Thank you.

I would. Surely everything in the cupboards will need to be washed up before the new season anyway?

We've been coming down to do some maintenance and the cleaners have been every time so the place is clean. But maybe I'll just leave stuff where it is and then just wash it afterwards. It will save the pain of having to pack it and move it...

Maybe buy some masking paper and cover your cupboards and surfaces?

Masking tape around the cupboard doors, seal them?

Yes we thought about masking tape too.
