Just seen a thread about being pecked by chickens in Active Threads, and it reminded me of something my mum just told me:

"Never take a faint in a chicken run. They'll peck your eyes out."

She may have given me all kinds of helpful advice, but that's the only thing I remember. Every time I see a chicken.

Just told me? I mean told me as a child. It would be extremely odd if she was urgently trying to get that message to me DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC.
