Our online food shop was delivered in Tuesday. All good except for a couple of substitutes, one being cherry bakewell's in place of empire biscuits. I was a bit gutted as I do like an empire but not bad as an alternative.
Tuesday night I asked DH if he wanted one and he said, 'no, I don't like them'. Ah well, all the more for me (6 in a box).
Last night I went for another and to be polite, asked if he was sure he didn't want one. Again, he said 'no thanks'.
Fast forward to lunchtime today, he was in the kitchen and all I hear is, 'HardcoreParkour, have you eaten all the cherry bakewell's.' (There's one left 😳🙈). I said 'yeah, you said you didn't like them'. His huffy reply was, 'I was joking' 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That'll teach him to say what he means and mean what he says! Jokes are meant to be funny 😂😂😂😂
Anyone else had a similar situation?
