Applying for an entry level role job and have been asked what does the company’s value “pioneering” mean to me, and to use an example of when I have shown this value in the past...

Anyone know what kind of thing recruiters are expecting me to say? I really struggle with ‘values’ job questions like this as it all sounds so vague and pointless to me. Blush

I was going to try and say pioneering is about trying new things or something.
No idea what a real life example of when I’ve been pioneering could be 😩

Hard to say without knowing what kind of company it is. Look on the website and see what new products, approaches or techniques or whatever they're developing?

"Pioneering with an imaginative outlook" is a phrase that companies love. It basically means being willing to try new ideas and taking initiative to come up with said new ideas in ways which other companies of the same kind haven't before. Good luck!
