Sorry to post this again but I’m a bit bored in lockdown & love hearing about other people’s lives! Cooking a roast which we’ve been planning to do since Sunday. Leg of pork ( hopefully with crackling), roast potatoes, parsley lemon & thyme stuffing, carrots, petitpois, pork gravy & applesauce yum. Did overtime at work so a bit tired but not as bad as I thought. DD in her room. She got 100% on her maths today & did well with her art work too. DH has made another lovely whole meal loaf. I saw DM & DF at work, which was great as I haven’t seen them in a while & then only through the window. Watching Corrie & Doctors later. Doctors is my guilty pleasure! Need to ring Vodafone as I have an astronomical bill due in early March & have no idea why it’s so high!

Dd6 is asleep in bed, dd13 has just gone into the kitchen to get a bowl of ice cream, dd16 is in her room watching the new Elisa Lam documentary series on Netflix, Dh is ranting to me about something on Facebook and I am not listening and looking through MN. I’m waiting for him to stop ranting so we can watch something on tv...

I can’t wait until my kids can go out with friends again! We’re on lockdown so can’t even have someone in the garden.

We have just watched some Modern Fanily in the hot tub and watched the stars for a bit.

I’m on my bed about to put on some lounge wear, kids are getting themselves ready for bed then older DS will come down and watch the Repair shop with us while we plan out his home learning for tomorrow.

D dog is fast asleep on the heated floor and she is adorable.

Here dd has come home (hasn't been since new year), she had two wisdom teeth removed and now she can finally eat again, so tonight we have had Sliders with chips and strawberries for dessert. We have just watched videos of cloud leopards, they are soo cute.

There is snow here and we're warned it will go down to -12c at night . I'm in Southern Scandinavia, but its been a long time since we had a really cold winter and now it's freezing 🥶.

Ds is in Norway, he sent us a picture of the local dog groomer, it's called 'Doggy Style' .

Ds is playing robox on the xbox. Dh is in the shower he goes to work in an hour and I'm sorting washing and contemplating going to bed when ds does at 9pm

Had prawn stir fry for dinner, now DS is upstairs playing on the PC, and DH and I are having a gin and tonic and waiting for River Monsters to start. I might do some knitting while it's on, DH will probably half watch it, half noodle about on his iPad finding out weird random facts that he can talk over the interesting bits of the programme with

Thank you, rainbow socks and rainbow gloves are on my to-do list (I have never knitted gloves but am quite good at socks)

I've just finished my breakfast/tea after not long waking up from a nap ready for my second full shift of the day and logged into MN toying with the idea of starting a "Why I am so bloody skint when I work eleventy million hours a week?" thread. I've decided against it as I'm heading off to work and will be at work until after 4pm tommorrow so will probably get accused of begging/posting and running.

DD1 is bleaching her friends hair via a Zoom call. I suspect this is going to end in tears as she's just advised her friend to "foil the midlengths and ends" a feat which is neigh on impossible for fully qualified hairdressers to do to themselves never mind a 17 yo with a roll of kitchen foil.

DD2 is eating a pot noodle while wandering around the kitchen musing about what she can make herself for supper.

Dog1 is following DD2 around the kitchen praying for a noodle to drop to the floor.

Dog2 is pretending to be asleep on the sofa while watching dog1 in fear of missing out on dropped noodles.

I've had a lovely day and I'm very happy It's been a shit month but I went back to work on Monday after lockdown 3.0 😒 I visited my good friend who cut my hair (it's allowed here), we then sat in her garden and shared a bottle of wine in the sun.

I'm now snuggled with my dcats watching A Place in The Sun

Kids ( 18,16 & 14 ) are playing a rather noisy version of Monopoly. Husband is in his garage/workshop playing with his ancient motorbike and I’m on the sofa with my foot up as a horse stood on it this morning. It’s badly swollen and f*cking painful but x-ray showed nothing broken. Tramadol makes me feel weird.

Just had a shower. Went out with my friend for a frosty hillside quarry walk with my torch. I needed to clear my head.

Dd has finally just fallen sleep, after making me make up endless stories about being stuck up a mountain. Most of the evening has been taken up by clearing up dog vomit, after DDog ate something suspect that she dug up in the flowerbeds this morning. DH and I are now on the sofa, having a mint tea. Will read a bit of my book and get an early night. Life has never been so repetitive.

I'm flicking through MN while dd and I watch Buffy. Just eaten crispy gnocchi from the Green Roasting tin book - too many peppers for my liking but the low effort was good. Dd has 2 cats on her and I have none :( I do have a glass of wine however and am pretending I don't know i have a report to write for tomorrow.

I've just finished work and am going to run a bath then might watch the last episode of Marcella with some of the left over rice pudding I made last night. It's party central here tonight!

What the morning like?

Ds- in room on laptop doing his school work.
Dd- singing at top volume and pottering until I get my butt into gear and help her structure her day
Dh is doing the breakfast dishes and making me a coffee.

I slept in this morning with the puppy in the bed with me. I haven’t been sleeping so well, so that was a lovely treat.

It’s frosty hear this morning. I have to log on soon. Cannot be arsed

dh is in bed after just finishing a 12 hr night shift...dd is on a teams call for a school lesson and i am having a quick cuppa before heading out to do the weekly shop...its peaceful and so quiet apart from dds squeels of laughter as her entire class are reading about a cat and acting a story out.Oh to be 9 again!!
