I was pissed off with this sweeping assumption and wondered if she was projecting her own insecurity

Of course youth has a certain prettiness and appeal but I think older women can be very beautiful and attractive

@ElliFAntspoo to me it's about confidence and how you feel about yourself. I am attracted to confident women especially. Plus would like to be like them lol

Allure is probably quite a hard thing to define.

You can certainly be beautiful at any age but allure, hmm, not sure? Don’t think it’s an age thing.
I think it’s like charisma. You either have it or you don’t, at 20 or 80.

Well I'm 46 and DP wants to shag regularly and I occasionally get eyed up in the street despite being fairly average looking so I'd say your friend is talking bollocks.
