Crispy duck recipe?

Having never made it before, I've decided to have a go at making crispy duck on Friday. Mainly because I have a duck in the freezer I've not cooked yet!
There are a bazillion recipes with very random variations in method - steaming, hanging for hours in a windy location etc. I only have one duck and I want to make it a good one! Does anyone have a tried and trusted way to make this?

According to my friend, very few East Asian people actually try to make proper crispy Peking duck at home because it’s incredibly faffy and energy intensive and a home oven can never recreate the same crisp skin and flavour as a proper wood-fired hanging oven. He does rate this recipe if you want to try though (and says their recipes for both authentic and Westernised Chinese dishes are very good generally): thewoksoflife.com/easy-peking-duck-mandarin-pancakes/
