It's also valentine's Day and you're single.....
What suprise gift would you like? Budget upto £50. Preferably available on Amazon, but would like to get her a few bits.

She's my cousin, lives with her mom and stepdad. Doesn't work. Lovely kid.

Lovely idea. I'd definitely want something 'on trend' if I was 21 but as I'm definitely not 'on trend' I'd want a raclette, contigo travel mug, throw fleece electric blanket, fizzy alcohol, gorgeous wine glasses, charm and chocolates.

pawsies · 10/02/2021 16:58

Champagne maybe?

Depends what her interests are ultimately

BrilliantBetty · 10/02/2021 17:02

My 18yo close relation only ever wants make up or money 🙄
Boring but she hates any clutter and is very particular.

Honestly I'd ask what she wants because it's easy to get it wrong and hard to get right for that sort of age group.

Redtartanshoes · 10/02/2021 17:03

Chanel nail varnish? Hotel chocolat. Nice pjs?

Isadora2007 · 10/02/2021 17:06

£21 Amazon voucher
21 chocolate treats in a nice box (will probably set you back around £10)
And a nice mug- maybe an Emma Bridgwater? £18

JustFrustrated · 10/02/2021 17:22

I'm not asking her. It's a surprise and she's a sweet kid. She doesn't have any interests, she's coming out of a dark period and gifts aren't something I'd normally do for her.

Some ideas are fab though. Thank you xx

DD was 21 last year and also has no particular hobbies. The gifts she really appreciated were expensive chocolates, nice alcohol, nice luxurious toiletries, nice fluffy dressing gown etc. They might all seem a bit stereotypical but she doesn’t have much room of her own so isn’t the hugest fan of people getting her random stuff that she doesn’t have use for. Emma Bridgewater mug is a nice idea. Maybe a Chilly’s flask?

juicy0 · 10/02/2021 17:27

Bryan Anthony do some lovely jewellery with messages which are lovely, there's bound to be one to suit her personality

BottegaBish · 10/02/2021 18:31

I'd go with a £50 Amazon voucher...or ASOS half n half so 2 vouchers.

OhioOhioOhio · 10/02/2021 18:34

Retro sweet hamper for when you were 21?

OhioOhioOhio · 10/02/2021 18:35

Fairy lights

OhioOhioOhio · 10/02/2021 18:35

Tote shopper

Susiesue61 · 10/02/2021 18:36

DD would love blankets, cushions, nice chocolate, pink gin, soap and glory smellies 😊 Shes 19

OhioOhioOhio · 10/02/2021 18:44

You can get a scratch the places you want to visit around the world map for about a tenner.

OhioOhioOhio · 10/02/2021 18:44

A nice cooking book?

crispychicken12 · 10/02/2021 18:46

It's my cousins birthday on the 12th, she'll be 21. I'm giving her £40 and I contributed £20 to a rather lovely cake. She's having a zoom call with her friends Grin

IndigoApple · 10/02/2021 18:58

DD is 21. I second a Chilly’s bottle, they are fab and will use up half the budget. For the rest alcohol/chocolate gift (M&S do some that can be sent direct) or pyjamas/blanket/something soft, or a voucher.

My 20 year old loves these! They do UK and Europe ones too.
