Hi!
I keep remembering bits of some books I read as a teenager and in desperate to find out the name and track them down! Sorry in advance for how useless my descriptions will no doubt be!

The first series was about a kind of loner beautiful in an ~unconventional way girl. She was kind of superhuman I think? She had a guy best friend, there was a bit about her being mugged I think and she destroyed the thugs. She's got long blonde hair. The books focus on her finding out about her powers she's super strong and I think her absent dad turns up involved in some organisation? She ends up meeting others who have powers too I think? She doesn't fit in at school. She's wanted by some bad guys who want to use her powers. Any ideas?!

The second was about models. Another series. Lots about wearing a plain white t shirt to castings!? The books focused on the friendships and fall outs of a bunch of models I think?

Anyone know what I'm on about?!

@tessiegirl

*It was about a group of teenagers who lived on an island and got the ferry to school each day. I’m sure each in That series was named after the person in the friendship group it focussed on. There were sisters (who lived with their Dad and had lost their mother) and I’m sure one of the guys had lost a brother in a tragedy of sorts.

Anyone here have any memories of this at all?*

Yes yes yes! The making out series by katherine Applegate. They were amazing!

Yes! Thank you so much!
