Find my iPhone help!

We all have find my iphone. We have enabled everything, switched on iCloud, shared location and switched everything on.

But each one of us can only see our own phone on it and no one else's.

Which is really unhelpful if you have lost your phone and need to use your husbands to find it, all I could see was his!

(Which literally happened last week).

I doing wrong?

Are you all in a "Family" ?
I have me, dh & kids all added to my account as family and I can see where everyone's phones are and play the find my iPhone ping from my phone if anyone misplaces their devices.

Settings> top band where it has your photo icon and name > family sharing > add member

Either enable family sharing, or click help a friend at the bottom of the log on screen, then enter your Apple ID & password and it'll find that phone.

Ok we have all joined the family.

I can't see them on the map now but when I look at their name it says

"Fred not sharing location"

Do they need to switch it on again via the findmyiphone app?
