Best tinned tuna?

I haven't tried tinned tuna in so long but saw this recipe and now have a hankering for it. But there are so many tins of tuna to choose from.

If you're a frequent scoffer of tinned tuna could you tell me which you think is the tastiest?

Thank you for indulging this very dull thread of mine.

Finally: my chosen specialist subject comes up.

You need Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Albacore tuna or Ortiz albacore tuna for posh. They are both miles better than your standard supermarket tuna.

For not that posh Waitrose own brand tuna in olive oil is not bad at all

I’d vote for those no drain fridge pots. They are firm and flaky, quite a ‘dry’ texture, not mushy, not ‘smelly’.

Thank you, @Iamthewombat! You are clearly an aficionado on all things tuna. I will try the Sainsbury's one first. I see they also sell it in jars and that gets good reviews too.

I know this is last month, but I googled to get an answer to this very question question, so tired of the mushy stuff, and the strength of your conviction decided it for me!
