Early dating - how many messages?

If you were early 30's been dating someone for a couple of months - seeing them once a week, would you expect to txt everyday? Multiple times a day? Few times a week? What would you feel happy with?

There's not a universal answer to this, but I think it's a good measure of fit. Do you both want to message a lot? Great fit! Do neither of you like messaging much? Great fit!

Zero messages! Pick up the phone and call or video chat. No point in texting, zero.

I'm not a massive messager but would say I'm definitely on my phone more than him - he's got a much older phone and hardly touches it!

I don't talk on the phone to anyone really - all my friends message, it's mostly my parents I actually ring!
