How soon will pregnancy test work?

I can't believe I'm posting this but here we go. I'm 44 and on the pill. DTD on 29/1. Stopped pill for seven day break on the 2/2 but I haven't had a withdrawal bleed. I have never ever missed a withdrawal bleed before - could just be coincidence, right? Or my age?
I did miss a couple of pills in the preceding packet, which is why I'm slightly anxious. But at my age and on the pill surely the chances are infinitesimal?
Do I really need to POAS - will it even show up already?
Bugger.

If you ovulated and conceived on 29/1 you would be 11 dpo
I think if you bought a FRER and tested tomorrow you should get a pretty definitive answer. Even more likely if you held off until Friday

Hope you get the result you want

Thank you for the reply. I know the only sensible thing to do is just do a damn test!

Yes, I agree with the previous post. I would test at the end of this week.

Just wanted to update - negative result, which is what I wanted. Huge relief. Thank you so much for replying. Thanks

Excellent. It probably is your age. I'm 47 and have being missing withdrawal bleeds on the pill for a few years now and for the last couple of years at least, they've been really light.

I've just had the first one in about 6 months and I was seriously starting to think that was it and I'd gone through the menopause (have been having other symptoms like night sweats).
