Streaking service targeted advertising

I'm a 31 year old woman, and I have provided my details to make an account for BBC iPlayer, All4 and ITV Hub, the latter two being services that rely on advertising which I believe is supposed to be targeted.

The adverts I am seeing constantly on loop are:

Viagra Connect
A gambling website
Baby follow on milk

Aside from driving me bonkers, if this is targeted advertising, they're totally wasting their money!! I'm childfree, never gamble and DP has never had any problem with erectile dysfunction.

Curious to see what everyone else is getting!

Suggest you delete browsing history before you log off each time. Seems to do the trick for me for adverts on sites I log on to. I don't have the ITV hub though.

...but I certainly get an odd selection of adverts too!

Though we don't seem to have streakers these days - I can't remember when I last saw a report of one

The ads are targeted from something though - does DH use the iPad or whatever device it is? Do you use the device for anything else - if you follow helpfully provided links from some MN threads you could easily get that selection

Just because most people who want to sign up as streakers in the gig-economy are 19 and male doesn’t mean that 31 year old women can’t get in on the action too. It’s 2021, the age of the side-hustle. If you want to streak, get out there and streak and don’t let anyone tell you that your too old , it’s too cold outside, or that it’s a business model about to launch 1000 lawsuits.

I thought it was definitely an ad hoc on-the-day role and dominated by wine (Erika Roe at the rugger). Though I seem to remember a naked man and a police helmet at a cricket fixture - or did I imagine that?

I get the viagra one too, and gambling. I'm a widow in my early 40s. I don't gamble, they are also wasting their time with me

I think viagra and gambling must be the default ones. We get those here too and gave all kinds of custom filtering to ensure we don’t get targeted adds.
