Got given an old fit bit for my old mum. Missing the dongle though? Please help!

My mum wanted a fit bit.....

Friend gave me an old one - yay!

She's not sure what type of fitbit though ... and it's missing a dongle.

Not quite sure it's real purpose but I'll google 🤪

Any idea where I should get a cheap dongle?

I'm told the fit bit works.....

That looks like a charger, you just need to charge it up and download app and link it up to the phone

You just need to charge it. Full stop. It can count steps without the app.

It's asking me to identify 'which' fit bit model it is on the app.

No numbers come up on the fit bit so I've not a clue how you see your steps on the actual wrist strap 😂 I think it might be the very first model or something x

Looks like a Charge HR to me, same as one DD has.

Screen is too thin to be a Fitbit Charge. That's a Fitbit Flex.

The dongle is just needed to connect it to a laptop, but you can do everything on the app

Sadly it must be too old or something as despite it saying fit bit on the actual items, I got this message 🤷‍♀️
