Does anyone use an IP security camera as a baby monitor??

We've got audio monitors but now want to have video monitoring as well. I've seen that some people use IP cameras for this, as they're much cheaper especially if you already have the audio monitors. Does anyone on here use this kind of camera? Would you recommend the one you've got? I'm a bit unsure, because it looks like many of them require you to subscribe to cloud storage for a monthly fee.

They are hackable so you should make sure to check this article to ensure yours is locked down.

I use an Amazon Victure one. Cost about £20. It's brilliant. It even has sound. A few people I've shown tell me it has better picture quality than their £££ baby video monitors.

You can pay a subscription if you want to record more etc but I'm happy with the six seconds you get for free. It's linked to my phone and I can check it when I'm at work on nights. Love it.
