How to learn to always eat with my mouth closed?

I know I often forget to, especially if I’m talking (I’m very chatty) or very hungry. I know it’s gross. I also have an overbite (upper gum that sticks out and receded lower jaw) so it’s a little more difficult to close my mouth fully anyway. If I consciously think about it, I can do it but it’s easy to forget

I honestly don’t know. I automatically chew with my mouth closed as it was absolutely drummed into me as a child. You could try always thinking in your head that you are eating in front of someone so being as polite as you can

Do you live with someone you could ask to call you out on it every time you forget?

Do you breathe through your mouth all of the time?

Can you breathe through your nose, or does it feel forced when you try?

You shouldn't really be talking while you are eating either, if you concentrate on that then it'll be easier to eat with your mouth closed maybe?
