For those of you with treadmills, rowing machines etc where do you keep them? I’m not very enamoured with the prospect of working out in my garage.

My husband does and it’s actually better than in the house because it’s cooler.

I just swap my days around and do my HIIT or weights that I would have done anyway on the running day. I took Friday off and ran on Saturday as it was forecast to be a really sunny day, it was, and it really enhanced the pleasure of being outdoors. I love running in the rain but the novelty is starting to wear a bit thin of late Hmm

We have a gym in the summer house. One of the best investments we have ever made

In the garage! I got some foamy mats to put down on the floor and I put a little shelf up so I can watch stuff on my phone or play music when I'm running

I don’t run (I often say if you see me running, you should run too because something is chasing me Grin) but I have a spin bike and I use the Les Mills On Demand videos, or I just put on music and pedal away.

I also like yoga. Basically, I hate exercise and avoid anything that requires me to actually move from one spot Blush

Alternate going out for a walk (as brisk as conditions underfoot permit) and staying in with HIIT or Pilates

I have a friend who swears by meditation in truly foul weather - not that many days fall in to that category and she says it's terrific for wider wellbeing (and you don't really lose any fitness until you've had about a week off)
