What does it mean to stream something?

I seen on ch4 there is loads of boxsets to stream...I'm just not sure what streaming is?

Watch via the internet on your telly

A neverending stream of TV to your computer/pad/phone, without it being saved at your end.

But how do you watch it on the telly?

Modern TVs have all that built in - iPlayer and C4 and whatever else.

If yours doesn't, you can get an Amazon Firestick, Roku, Google Chromecast or various other devices that'll run the iPlayer, C4 etc apps on your TV. Or you could plug a computer into your TV - most laptops under five years old will have HDMI. Or use an Xbox or Playstation.
