I'm debating either sitting down to spend some grant money for my Guides, or starting a new crochet project. I think we all know which it will be

The girls are watching Minecraft videos on Youtube together while they have lunch.

We need to feed dd2's mantis at some point today but he's happy chilling in his little house atm.

I made myself brunch and put a wash on. There's a glorious rainbow outside and I'm watching a blue tit pair hopping in and out of my nestbox.
I'm shielding so need to make my own entertainment.

The toddler and I are eating beans on toast and watching Muppets Treasure Island before we go for the big afternoon walk with the dog. It's raining.

Pouring with rain here since last night. Popping to Tesco soon then home to do ironing and clean and dust front room.

I'm just about to tackle the rafters in the hall with a telescopic duster that just arrived from Amazon, and give it a big spring clean. And Saturdays are bed washing day. Oh the thrills.....but some bubbly later 😀

Meant to be decorating today but I'm absolutely exhausted and watching TV instead.

Planned to have a day of decluttering. Ended up with a banging headache and nausea. So looks like a wasted day 😣

DH is out doing the shop and tip run while I’m at home working on my course. I’m finding the assignment very dull so struggling to avoid procrastination. Trying to finish by 4pm so I can watch the rugby

I'm procrastinating decluttering by researching which method might be best

I ended up planning what to spend the money on & filling a basket with lots of individual resources for the girls. Just sitting down for a couple of hours crocheting now :)

Dd and I are having a jammy day.
It's raining, windy and cold here. We are lovely and warm sitting beside the fire. I'm painting her toenails she's painting her dolls toenails.
DH is in the other room watching football.

The teens are doing whatever teenage boys do in their rooms, I'm backing up some data and updating my kindle.

Stuffing my face from a tin of Quality Street.

Busy morning followed by a long dog walk. Just home now and will have a cup of tea before retreating to the kitchen to cook for a few hours. Back to work at 7am tomorrow when it is forecast to snow

Still vile weather. Emptied out mums kitchen prior to builders coming this week. Now tucked under a heated throw watching the rugby. Nothing else planned for today

It's Saturday - so cleaning (done), shopping (done).
What else is there:
Duolingo (done), reading (done), can't do crafts bc. I am not prepared to order 50g of wool online and we are in lockdown + curfew. I could start on another online learning course....
DD is working towards exams (3rd semester full time online uni), DH is work-zoom-ing and DS will repeat the year so is in full time relaxation mood.

I slept in until lunchtime (had a migraine which has thankfully subsided) put a wash on and had a tidy round (Dd did the cleaning yesterday whilst I was at work) now I’m enjoying a cup of camomile tea snuggled under a throw with the dog
Dh has been tidying the garden and is now dozing on the sofa
Dd has had online dance classes and is now having a soak in the bath
We are having an Indian takeaway tonight and will probably watch a film or catch up on things we have recorded

Fairly typical lazy lockdown Saturday. Chilling with a face mask on. Will be removing it in time to go and watch the rugby shortly. Chinese takeaway tonight.

We are tucked up on the couch watching the football...big long all this morning with the dog. Happy days

Walk on the beach earlier...home for lunch. Dd sent me a Hello Fresh box for the weekend so that's food sorted.
Binged watched the first series of Dead to Me yesterday and making Dh watch it now so we can watch the second series together hopefully soon.
Just wondering which cocktail to make...pina colada's or espresso martini's.
