Advice on best hospital to give birth in Northwest London

Hi Everyone! I am about 9 weeks pregnant (for the first time) and need to choose a hospital to give birth. I live in North West London and have the choice of:
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
Hillingdon Hospital
Northwick Park Hospital
St Mary’s Hospital
Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital
West Middlesex Hospital

I have heard some horror stories about Northwick Park, and my GP has automatically referred me to them. I am thinking about self referring to another hospital and was wondering if anyone has had any recent experiences (maybe in he last couple of years) of maternity care at any of these hospitals? Your advice will be much appreciated!

Congratulations!
From your list I’d say
1.Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

2.Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital

  1. St Mary’s Hospital

Based on facilities, scbu & NICU cots

Classic not-answering-the-question, but could you go to the Whittington? I’m also in NW London and had great experiences there with two challenging births.

I gave birth at Queen Charlotte's and had a great experience there with very good care. I didn't love my prenatal midwife but everyone in labour ward was great. I paid for private postnatal which was AMAZING, so I can't speak about the NHS postnatal ward.

Thank you so much for getting back to me :) I really appreciate the feedback! I think I will go with Queen Charlotte's based on your advice and advice from friends.
