What do SAHMs think of this?

Katie Hopkins was/is just a shit stirrer. There are plenty of ways to discuss the pros and cons of being a SAHM but mentioning KH isn't one of them. She has been very nasty to people.

I haven't read it, refuse. However assuming the gist, I would say that anything you do that you could pay someone else to do "as their job" satisfies the criteria of a SAHM being seen as a job.

So you pay cleaners, child minders, gardeners, window cleaners, taxis, tutors etc etc etc. They are all jobs, paid for and taxable. The only difference is a SAHM is not paid, she is therefore a volunteer, and should be recognised as being a valuable support to society 😉

I’m a sahm. Luckily I’m mature enough and self confident enough to know I don’t need to rebut anything about my decisions.

I wouldn’t read any by Katie Hopkins. I don’t know or care if it’s her personal opinion or if she need to create controversy for people to listen to her but I’m not interested in hate.

Urgh KH. I'm a SAHP at the moment. It's not my job. I was a teacher, I might be a teacher again in the future. At the moment I'm at home with my DC and I'm bloody grateful that I'm not juggling them and the job I used to have.
