Dizzy spells, feeling slight nauseous

Over the past 2 days I have been having random dizzy spells, and feeling slightly nauseous. Having trouble sleeping at the moment.

Wondering if this is something I should contact my gp about? Or is it normal?

I have health anxiety so worry everytime there is something different but really don't want to trouble my gp if it's something silly

vertigo
pregnant
ear infection

Not sure if it could be any of the above, wull need to check them out. I've never got dizzy and nauseous before, apart from a really bad hangover but this is not a nice feeling.

You can get these symptoms when you're tired or exhausted OP. Or, sadly, with Covid

Hopefully not covid. My body feels heavy and I just feel so dizzy and sick. Not sure if it is enough to call nhs 24 for some advice?

I would do pregnancy test as a first priority.

Daisychainsandglitter · 06/02/2021 17:22

I would get checked out for covid. My symptoms were headache, tiredness and vomiting so not what you would usually associate with covid.
Hope you feel better soon

Definitely something to get checked out. I’m type 2 & dizzy & feeling sick and tired is how I feel after a hypo (low blood sugar).

I felt like that when I was really deficient in VitD. A month of prescription-strength supplements sorted me out and now I take a maintenance dose.
Call the GP for a phone appointment to start with.

A friend got recently diagnosed with vertigo and she had the same symptoms. Make sure you get it checked out especially if you start getting headaches.

JMAngel1 · 06/02/2021 19:11

This is now I felt with covid at the beginning of it.

Brogues · 06/02/2021 19:11

Anxiety/panic attacks maybe.

ScarlettDarling · 06/02/2021 19:14

I’ve started getting like this when I’m hormonal...before my period and at ovulation. I also get terrible anxiety which I think makes it worse.I’d give it a few days and if it doesn’t settle ring the gp

JellyNo15 · 06/02/2021 19:22

I didn't have the three main Covid symptoms but I was dizzy at times, nauseous, headache and muscle pains. Please take a test.
