It's my birthday tomorrow

Feeling a bit crap about it.

Im slightly jealous of my husband cause at least he gets to go to work for the day .

I hear you. It was my 39th birthday last week and I felt disproportionately naffed off about having my birthday in lockdown but as a teacher, kept telling myself 'well at least I get to hang out and eat cake with my colleagues'. Then 3 days before my birthday I got Covid. Was in isolation for the big day and couldn't even buy myself a birthday 'cause I couldn't get a shopping delivery slot.

Can you go for a nice walk? Grab a coffee maybe? Get DH to pick something nice up for tea.

Mine too is tomorrow!
We had big plans as a milestone birthday, but all cancelled! So it'll be me and kids and giant cake! 😄😄😄

Mine is this month too. I was already 'being careful' last year, so this is number two 'at home' & I live alone!

I honestly do not mind though.... I guess it's an advantage to being 'older' - I'll be 52 & I'm diabetic - so just being alive making it to this one 🤞🏼Will be enough for me! 🤣

I feel your pain. Had to isolate last week from being in contact with someone who had a positive result. It was my birthday on Day 4/10 so I spent it trapped alone in the bloody house with a two year old who is going through a hitting phase and has just dropped his nap. Couldn't even go for a walk 😭 It's rubbish! Hope you manage to have an okay day even if it's not a fantastic one!

Mines in a few days and is a big milestone birthday. But having spent what should have been my wedding day in lockdown and a immediate family members funeral in lockdown my birthday in lockdown doesnt seem so bad

You are limited in what you can do but you can still do something nice

• make a cake or buy a nice cake / your favourite treats

• have your favourite meal / takeaway / order takeaway from a restaurant you like

• take the day off work if you work and if you can or otherwise give yourself a day off from things like the laundry and washing up

• do something you enjoy whether that's go for a walk or watch a film or tv, have a bubble bath, read a book

Mine on Monday 🙂 I'm going for a walk with a takeaway luxury hot chocolate pending the weather - we could have snow by then...

Hers is 23rd March, which was the first day of lockdown 1 last year
She thinks she’ll get 2 in and we will all still be locked down on her birthday this year
