Beds....lovely lovely beds.... probably my favourite piece of furniture which is where I have a problem and hoping someone out there might have some advice.
Moving in 3 weeks to an unfurnished house...have most of my furniture in storage which is great but.... don't have a bed.
Ok...in a normal world...not so much of a problem... go to shop/online, order, it arrives, gets made up... I go to bed.
Unfortunately....this has all changed with most companies just offering a drop off in hall/at door service.
So..... will it really be as nightmarish as I imagine to drag a double ottoman style bed (and headboard) up the stairs and assemble it especially as I am crap/lack patience when it comes to putting things together?
Can anyone recommend a good company for beds (please dont suggest land of beds as very nearly had to take legal action against them a few years ago).

Amazon. There are LOADS of memory foam mattresses available. I bought one off Amazon for my son several years ago and he absolutely loves it. The price was incredible.

Love my Hypnos bed by premier inn. It's not pretty but it's the comfiest bed I've ever slept in

I’ve just ordered from Divan Bed Warehouse.

They’re highly rated on trust pilot but waiting for the catch, as they’re saying delivery within about a week, less than half the cost of the big names and for £50 they’ll bring my superking upstairs and assemble.

Like a pp said my ideal would be a Hypnos Premier Inn bed, but at the moment they have several months lead time and we need it now.

Double check that companies won't install. We had furniture delivered in lockdown 1 and they brought it upstairs and assembled, they just wore masks etc.

I have a bed!! With delivery within a decent timeframe and assembly from Bensons. Fingers crossed it will all work out. It's a divan some comes with a random mattress which is fine as it'll go on the spare bed when I get that. I already have my lovely Hypnos mattress which has been in storage for the last year and a bit.
