How to invest my money?

I have around 30k in savings. I'm in my 30s. What shall I do with it? Put it all into my mortgage? Invest in stocks/shares? I'd like to make some money on it, but not sure how. I am a newbie to this, so thoughts/guidance very welcome! No idea where to start even. A financial advisor?

Interest rates are non existentso it's a great time to overpay your mortgage.
I think if your going to play the stock market only invest what you can afford to lose.

I'd put 20 into my mortgage. Look up an over payment calculator. It is inspiring.
