Yep

SmidgenofaPigeon · 05/02/2021 12:21

😂 it wouldn’t even occur to me not to! People are way too precious about use by dates.

Thethingswedoforlove · 05/02/2021 12:21

Most definitely

RickiTarr · 05/02/2021 12:22

Looking and sniffing are by far the best guides.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 05/02/2021 12:22

AgentProvocateur · 05/02/2021 12:26

You seriously have to ask?

SmidgenofaPigeon · 05/02/2021 12:35

It’d be five even if it was a meat one, what do you think could be wrong with it ONE DAY out Confused

SmidgenofaPigeon · 05/02/2021 12:35

*fine

MojoJojo71 · 05/02/2021 12:39

Definitely, it’ll be fine

DappledThings · 05/02/2021 12:47

Of course.

tenlittlecygnets · 05/02/2021 13:29

Well, that's fairly conclusive. Thanks. I worry about these things...

Howmanysleepsnow · 05/02/2021 13:30

Yes (I’d go to 3 or 4 days!)

tenlittlecygnets · 06/02/2021 10:19

I survived. And it was lovely.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 06/02/2021 10:21

No hesitation, why not?

tinselvestsparklepants · 06/02/2021 10:23

If you worry about these things it might be worth reading up a bit about use by dates as it'll set your mind at rest for the future. As others have said, they are only a guide and your own senses are the best way to tell if something is ok.

megletthesecond · 06/02/2021 10:29

Yes. This is why I love being a mainly veggie household. Less stress over use by dates.

CandidaAlbicans2 · 06/02/2021 10:31

Absolutely. I'd go 3-4 days over use by date of something like that and not worry.

tenlittlecygnets · 09/02/2021 15:06

@megletthesecond - it was a veggie lasagne!

@tinselvestsparklepants - If you worry about these things it might be worth reading up a bit about use by dates as it'll set your mind at rest for the future.

I have done. I have emetophobia so I'm often a bit funny about use by dates. This bloody pandemic is not helping either. Eating things that are in date is one thing I can control! But thank you. I know I was being U.
