Urgh
Been nominated to put together this weekends quiz. After almost a year of repeated online quizes I’m proper running out of ideas.

So help me out by....
A) telling me the best/funniest quiz questions you know
B) sharing any ideas you’ve come across to spice up a quiz.

For context in doing it to cheer my dad and his friend up. So it’s mainly going to be single people against other single people (unless there is a virtual way to do teams) and a range of ages from 35-65.

puzzgrid.com/best.php - Only Connect walls. Might give you some ideas.

Who is this? A page of "famous Faces" - you could send beforehand.

Will they all live in the same area? You could ask about people who used to live there, who went to school there, why is local landmark called X.

Olympic sports - which of these has been an Olympic sport.

Theme... what about Weird things people (used to) eat?

Like blended butter and blood... all over Ireland I read about this when I was on holiday, it was a standard way to preserve both and a staple food. Spread on bread or little chunks or on vegetables.

Or how Faroe Islanders eat Puffins.

Or how modern Icelanders still prepare sheep.

Or what ingredients went into 'mince pies' in the year 1500

Or why/when did Americans start eating lots of peanut butter.

Or what did British people eat for starch veg before they had potatoes.

Etc.
