Fuck I'm bored. I'm glamourising this shit. I'm massively trying to cut down drinking and I quit smoking several years ago.

But I've been tempted to buy some fags, put on a flouncy house robe and smoke fags with an afternoon cocktail or 5.

Exactly. Especially since the result of their smoking and drinking caused divorce/infidelity/lung cancer etc.

Ugh, lockdown boredom low isn't it. If I was in my dressing gown smoking and drinking during the day I'd look more Waynetta Slob than Betty Draper.

I guess it's a nice bit of blatantly ignorant escapism isn't it "If I only chucked on a romantic frilly dressing gown while daytime drinking and smoking in bed..." etc.
