Is anyone really good at train delay reroutes?

Supposed to be getting on the 12:19 Crewe to Euston train on Tuesday the 9th.

They've just emailed me to say it's been cancelled 🤦 this is the second time this has happened now.

I have a doctor's appointment at 4:30pm near Euston.

What would you do? I have a fear of getting lost so easy routes preferred!

Have you got the Trainline app? Loads are coming up when I look.

Could you get across to York and then York to Kings Cross? Kings Cross and Euston are close to each other, it’s taken me about 10mins to walk between the two.

This website should find you an alternative route:

I know train companies are running less frequent services at the moment, but Crewe to Euston is a major route and it's very unlikely there will only be one train which will get you there on time. National rail website tells me there are several direct trains running between 11am and 1pm. If I were you I'd just get one of those (I assume you'd need to book a seat to ensure social distancing)
