Who's drinking?

I said I was only going to have 2 beers. I've just cracked open the third and I have no regrets.

I have a mountain of shit to get through. Work stuff, home stuff, life admin, gardening and cleaning but it can all fuck off tonight. I'm having a drink and that's that.

I'm on the wine, I completed dry jan in full but drunk every evening this week Blush From Sunday just weekends only.

I always feel like I shouldn't have a glass of wine before bath time (for DS, not me) just in case I drop him or something. Once he's clean and in pyjamas, I'm cracking open a Sauvignon Blanc.

I'm drinking too much as well. But it's taking the edge off. Something to look forward to in the absence of meaningful human connection.

Far too much, but less than this time last year, after I gave up halfway through Jan. It's just not worth staying dry right now, far too much shit going on.

Ah I am so jealous of you all!

I have a two hour root canal appointment at the dentist tomorrow morning which I'm dreading and cannot risk even a hint of a hangover for so no wine for me ☹️

Tomorrow night will be a very different story...

Ahh Leah, maybe it's like ours - I can see the garden looking a mess, full of leaves and detritus that needs clearing but it's all too wet and mushy!!

A bit depressing.

I've got a nice glass of wine. Enjoying a few hours of lieu time from work in the morning so shall enjoy them!

Oh God yes. I NEEEED it tonight. Homeschooling, (admittedly part-time) working and a 14 week old puppy. My goodness I'm pretty much done.
