Chiropractor.....yay or nay?

I have a flare up of an old back injury caused by a hockey game years ago. Very painful, currently taking Naproxen and doing some exercises recommended by a physiotherapist a couple of weeks ago (phone consultation) but I’m still really sore (I know these exercises take time to work). I don’t have a follow up appointment or anything with the physiotherapist, so have been Googling local places that might be able to help me to get relief quicker.

I’ve been reading some very positive reviews of a local chiropractor. Are they any good? Worth it? Some people seem all for it and others say not Confused

I’m just having a course of chiro treatment for a couple of back issues. I wasn’t convinced at first...he wanted to take 4 xrays then see me twice a week for 3 weeks at £36 a go...but I’m on the 4th treatment and it’s definitely helped, plus I have exercises and stretches to do which really help too. I last had chiropractic treatment for pelvic issues after 2 pregnancies and it was fantastic then so I’ve been prepared to give it a good go this time.

Thanks for the replies! I think I’ll make an appointment for a chat with them ......the chiropractor is registered and I’m just not sure I can wait so many weeks more for some improvement

I totally recommend them. I've been to physiotherapists with little success but the chiropractor has been a life saver.
