Just you and friends/partner/adult family

Mine is a morning mooching in Central London parks with a friend, followed by a picnic lunch on a river boat. Then an afternoon at the Royal academy Summer exhibition and afternoon tea at The Sanderson with my siblings.

A show after that with my dh - something new and exciting.

Then dinner at Andrew Edmondson and a walk round Soho. Coffee at Bar Italia sitting outside and finally join friends for a drink or two in The Charlotte Hotel.

Anyone fancy joining us?!Grin

Sounds AMAZING! I will be totally skint due to spending all money on arts & bloody crafts to amuse 4 year old. But in my dreams a trip to the royal academy to see some art, then lunch with cloth napkins.
Not a walk in sight

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 03/02/2021 18:49

I am driving to see my best friend in person for the first time in over a year.

AtlasPine · 03/02/2021 18:50

It’s a fantasy so money is no barrier.

Day at the beach. Fish & chips and the funfair. Plus visit to my dad and his wife for a family buffet. We have birthday, Christmas and probably Easter gifts to share.

SallyTimms · 03/02/2021 18:54

Drink cocktails in Nice laid back bars and pubs in my fave hoody, jeans and trainers after a trip to hairdressers

Not very exciting but to chill out, people watch and lounge about in peace and quiet and bump into. People for. Cherry drunken chat is soooooo tempting!!

Brunch at a posh cafe. Dutiful grandparents will whisk DCs away to their house for 2 nights. No phone calls to us except an absolute emergency. DH and I decamp to the spa hotel where we got married. Amazing food, treatment, privacy, lolling about, doing what we want. ❤️

ParkheadParadise · 03/02/2021 18:57

I'm having my 5 siblings their partners and my 20 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and nephews ALL over to my house with DH and dd.
Plenty of food and drink, Karaoke on and have an all-night party.

inthekitchensink · 03/02/2021 18:58

Long drunken lunch at the British museum then squinting at the exhibits. Drink coffee at a pavement cafe. Browse a bookshop. Visit a beach. Leave the house.

Taking my son to see his Grandma, we are both missing her so much and can’t wait to spend the day together again.

Daisy829 · 03/02/2021 19:00

Get drunk with my friends and dance until dawn. Can’t wait.

truetuesdays · 03/02/2021 19:02

Pop Brixton for a day of eating and drinking

Wolfiefan · 03/02/2021 19:03

I love this. My eldest child will be 18 this year. I’m hoping for at least one more family holiday. Florida Disney. Nothing but leisure. No home school. Drinks and food prepared for us and brought to us. Bliss!
I also have a 15 month old pup. Can’t wait to take her to her first dog show. She is a great big show off who thinks the entire world should adore her. She will LOVE it!!

Equimum · 03/02/2021 19:17

Day trip to Cambridge, punting and afternoon tea with DH, followed by an overnight hotel break and a trip to some salt rooms. DILa bought vouchers for the experiences for Christmas and have promised overnight babysitting!

With the kids, we will be doing a long awaited trip to the Harry Potter Studios.

WorriedMillie · 03/02/2021 19:20

I’m struggling to imagine it! 😳
Probably a mooch around a local town centre (has naice shops) and lunch in a nice Italian restaurant
Or just brunch out at the garden centre and a walk in the park

OrangeBananaFish · 03/02/2021 19:23

It will be a Saturday morning and I shall be going to parkrun then breakfast with my running friends. Cant wait.

lunalucie · 03/02/2021 19:23

I'm hoping for 11 days out in Cyprus. I need it after working more than 50 hours a week since last March.

00100001 · 03/02/2021 19:27

We're going to the seaside,to meet friends, collects shells and eat chips 👍

amusedbush · 03/02/2021 19:31

My best friend moved to the US a few months before Covid struck so I’d love to visit her, though that’s a bit more than a day out! Grin

I miss impromptu cinema visits, or just wandering around the shops and going for lunch with DH.

Bilgepumper · 03/02/2021 19:32

It'd be nice just to go for a coffee.

reluctantbrit · 03/02/2021 19:43

Having friends over for a BBQ like we have most years and actually being able to hug them.

Going to a museum etc without prior booking a slot just because we decide to do it at breakfast.

MotherWol · 03/02/2021 19:44

A pub Sunday roast. I’m dreaming of going out, having a glass of wine while we wait, then having something like lamb or beef (which don’t work as well at home when you’re a family of 3), with all the trimmings. Not having to cook, not getting the oven all greasy, not having to wash up. Just a lovely meal and pudding and someone else doing the work for a change.

Tootshoots · 03/02/2021 19:45

Very boozy lunch with my friends. Start at lunchtime and carry on through the night. Somewhere to go dancing afterwards. Cant wait

Housing101 · 03/02/2021 20:17

I'm going to go to the dingy, dark room at the back of a famous pub in north London that I frequented in my late teens, to watch a lively, grungy band and I'll be drinking something gross and it'll be spilling everywhere because there are so many people moving and dancing. Enjoying the atmosphere or just being OUT and young(ish!!) I'm now 30 and have so many responsibilities it feels a bit much sometimes. I want to dance before I get any older

RagzReturnsRebooted · 03/02/2021 20:19

I fancy a small festival.
