Yafilthyanimal · 03/02/2021 16:46

I want to put together a platter/Graze box for my parents to drop on their doorstep?

Like the kind that is all over Facebook and Instagram?

I was thinking of buying a big cake box and then wrapping everything individually so it doesnt get soggy etc.

So far I have for ideas;

Pork pie
Cheese
Nuts
Grapes
Bread sticks
Crisps
Sandwiches
Crackers

Any other ideas?
Thank you Flowers

Maybe some nice chutneys to go with the crackers and cheese. Could decant into little Gu dishes and wrap. Olives, pickled onions and gherkins if they would enjoy them.

I’m adding things to my online shopping basket OP so mine is going to be basket sized at this rate Grin

I did this for my in-laws for Christmas - £30 in Aldi and the box was absolutely rammed! Cheese, chutney, crackers, little bottle of bubbles, cake, posh teabags, pickles, etc. YUM.

Pate.
Little squares of Brownie/Millionaires Shortbread etc - the ones that come in a plastic tub.
Sun dried tomatoes.
Those smoked salmon canapés things that most supermarkets seem to do.
Mini Scotch eggs.
Sausage rolls.
