I understand why MN deleted the 'Hello all' thread - but there were some great hints, tips and recipes on it - like the sausage cider casserole, and recipes for Scottish tablet, for example - or what to do with celeriac (clean answers only).

So can we revive all the good bits from that thread, without the goady, non-returning OP?

It's nice that an attempt at a goady thread had a pleasurable outcome.

I need to make that marmalade cake - it sounds gorgeous! But I am supposed to be trying to diet (otherwise I will leave lockdown entirely spherical and unable to get up of the couch).
