Hi

Please can someone tell me if pre-schools offer more than 25 hours free for 3 year olds for parents that aren't eligible for the government's 30 hours?

Also, if we are moving after the application date for pre schools can we put in applications to two local authorities?

Thank you.

If you aren’t eligible for 30 hours then it is 15 hours.

Are you specifically wanting a school nursery?
You can usually apply direct any time if they have spaces.

It’s 15 funded hours if you aren’t eligible for the 30 hours.

I would contact the pre-school directly about their admissions policies. As far as I know, it doesn’t matter if you are catchment or not. But everywhere is potentially different. When we were looking to move and change schools, the school office manager was a huge help in explaining what to do.
