My forehead is so dry

Skin care has been...intermittent at best. I have a vaguely followed routine of Nivea facewash or scrub, toner, and a Nivea moisturer. I'll be honest and say it's about £7 for it all...at boots, so not amazing pro retinal, anti aging, vitaminy, collagen goodness.

It's an improvement from nothing tbh...

But now, I'm needing to get something proper and its just confusing...

Basically I have quite a dry forehead. Worse when I come out of the shower and forgot to moisturise but now it's also seems be everyday. Partner asked me if needed a cheese grater the other day Shock so even he notices it's a bit dry....

Otherwise my skin seems okay. I'm 28 this year.

Please tell me what I need...or is there some kind of advice centre when you put in details and it says you need these 3/4 product types, which must include x,y,z. I'm crap at spending money on actual self-care (chocolate doesn't count, I don't think) but I'm trying! I'd say maybe £30 total for everything...maybe 3/4 products max?

Cannot recommend facial oil enough. Pure rosehip oil is great. I use it instead of moisturiser and no it doesn't encourage spots unless you're very unlucky. Vitamin E oil too. The Ordinary is cheap for rosehip oil.

Wash your face with a good old flannel for exfoliation.

Introduce an SPF and a hydrating toner. Korean brands are great for these.

If you want to get into retinols The Ordinary is a good place to start then you can try tretinoin (stronger purer retinol).
