Does anyone know where I can buy liquid melatonin?

Not liquid, but Zarbees do gummy ones which are nice tasting?

In the uk melatonin is unlicensed and prescription only. We have to go through the paediatrician at the hospital pharmacy to get DS his.

It's a shame as it's fantastic stuff that worked wonders for DSs sleep (and my sanity). It's basically considered a supplement just about everywhere else in the world and can be bought at Holland & Barret type places. I have wondered what the reasoning is (as I'd love it for myself!).

I've bought online from the US before and had it shipped over.

@originalusernamefail I was going to order some and then wondered about this. Looked it up. Something about it maybe exacerbating the problem as your body can stop producing its own melatonin. Anyway, there is a reason for it and it should only be for short term/limited use.

You can buy liquid and gummy form from Biovea. I have an order of melatonin gummies arriving soon, praying this is the answer to my insomnia..
I think in the uk its classed as a pharmaceutical which is why you cant buy it from Holland and Barrett. It tends to only be prescribed to the over 50s and children.

Are you buying it online or from overseas? As others have said it is not licensed and cannot be sold by chemists, health shops etc

yes I buy it from IHerb but not tried liquid..I'd like to, capsules aren't v effective for me

I also buy it from iherb. Chewable tablets rather than liquid though.

I get melatonin from Biovea, have been ordering from there for ages. Good communication and a range of strengths. They sell liquid melatonin. I've used it and don't like it due to the taste (orange) but I'm sure others would tolerate it better. I'm in England and have never had any problems with the orders coming from the states.At least I think it's the states, for some reason I have Switzerland in my head!

Ok done, thanks for that, will probably use Biovea from now on as IHerb aren't allowed to do UK anymore. Shame as I liked their other items but not really worth it now
