Can anyone help me with palindromes??

Hello. My husband has a palindromic birthday coming up (44) and it's a bit of a joke in our household that he finds being palindromic way too exciting!

So, in the absence of being able to do anything else on a lockdown birthday, I am trying to theme the day on palindromes.

Kids have bought him a DAD T-shirt, and I have got some TACOCAT beer and TANNAT wine. Thinking of having NAAN bread with one of the meals. I am also getting a melon and a lemon for the NO LEMON NO MELON sentence palindrome.

I am just wondering if anyone can think of any other good ideas, especially food/drink related. Would be nice to find a soft drink for the kids that is palindromic, and it wouldn't matter if it's a brand name.
Also a palindromic film?? I was hoping there might be a QI episode on palindromes but I can't seem to find one.

Any ideas?
....Blimey, birthdays have become a bit pathetic in the Covid era!

Brilliant, everyone, thanks!

I have to admit that I think BOOB might be his favourite. Can't believe I didn't think of that one. Now the question is, left or right? Will have to ponder that one while I prep my ABBA (and AHA) playlist, while making Eton mess as a STRESSED DESSERT, etc etc! Grin

Oh I love all these. I'm stealing ideas for my palindrome birthday next year.

Arrival is a very good film that's got interesting palindromic plot points (depressing beginning though.)
It's about alien spaceships suddenly appearing on earth and the main character is a linguist.

Tenet is also palindromic I think (the title is) though I've not seen that yet.

FelicityBeedle · 02/02/2021 21:04

For the kids they can drink pop!

FelicityBeedle · 02/02/2021 21:07

Could you give him some tickets for a (distant) GIG at NOON?

BadLad · 02/02/2021 21:28

Eat fish and chips. And drive to get them in a Toyota.

Palindromes.

A Toyota.

A Toyota. Race fast. Safe car. A Toyota.

Doc, note, I dissent. A fast never prevents a fatness. I diet on cod.

Make your cake a kayak 🤷🏻‍♀️😂😂

Dee261 · 02/02/2021 21:40

Poop 💩 emoji cupcakes sure the kids would love them also lol

YesPleaseMary · 02/02/2021 21:42

Enola Alone by the Manics on your playlist

MrsMoastyToasty · 02/02/2021 22:02

Buy him a kayak.

Squooka · 02/02/2021 22:22

There's the waitresses' palindrome, but best avoided at a birthday party:

Stressed? No tips? Spit on desserts!

And this is my favourite though, again, maybe not good for parties

Satan, oscillate my metallic sonatas!

BunnyBerries · 02/02/2021 22:23

Present him 'A nut for a jar of tuna'

Rizzoli123 · 02/02/2021 22:32

Send a card to Hannah 😂😂

thebunnies · 02/02/2021 22:38

How about getting him Aoxomoxoa – a 1969 album by the Grateful Dead.

Shamelessly stolen from Wikipedia !

thebunnies · 02/02/2021 22:40

Or you could repaper something for him!

Etinox · 02/02/2021 22:40

Definitely send him this card from Hannah & Otto

PPs have mentioned the film Tenet - it's a BRILLIANT watch, a really great film. Suitable for 14 and above (I've forgotten the original rating), maybe even 12 (little, if any, sex, not much swearing, not too much fighting and gore) AMAZING storyline and concept.

Love a palindrome. You could get him a ROTAVATOR for the garden? Have fun!

AdaColeman · 03/02/2021 23:45

@aibusux2u
Do you keep thinking ...."Damm it I'm mad"?

aibusux2u · 03/02/2021 23:53

@AdaColeman I certainly do! Am enjoying your name Ada too. Grin
